Developer’s Description: I don’t know about you, but the cloud, real or virtual, has never seemed like a particularly safe place to me. SendStuffNow, an app that claims to provide the most secure mobile access to a cloud-based file delivery service comes to the rescue. It replaces older file sharing solutions like FTP and email for individuals and businesses looking to securely exchange large files over the Internet.

SendStuffNow is built on 20 years of file encryption technology provided by Smith Micro’s patented StuffIt technology. SendStuffNow delivers a secure connection to the cloud and AES 256-bit encryption to protect files stored on the server. Additionally, it allows users to import contacts from Outlook and enables organizations to create company-wide contact lists accessible to all employees. The Outlook plug-in automatically sends large file attachments via the cloud. SendStuffNow offers IT professionals an admin dashboard, providing access to numerous policy driven management tools. Managers can delete uploaded files and rescind invitations on a case-by-case basis. Many competing products focus on specific end-users, while SendStuffNow is a fit for a range of users, including consumer, SMB and enterprise.

About

MOBILE APPS SHOWDOWN

spacer

The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try them, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile it's in the competition.

The top ten apps will join us at CES 2012 for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show.

spacer

Robin Raskin, creator of the Mobile Apps Showdown, will be there to emcee events.

spacer

By the end of this year more than 7 billion apps will have been downloaded. Only you know which ones are the keepers.
