Developer’s description: Carnival Comics’ digital comic book, 01 Murphy’s Law, is a tale based on Jazan Wild’s popular comic book series, Funhouse of Horrors. Beautifully designed with state-of-the-art animation that was built for the mobile experience, Murphy’s Law captures consumers’ imaginations with vivid storytelling and imagery, pulling them into the terrifying world of the living impaired. In Chapter 1 of this Ovi Store exclusive tale, ghost writer Jake Stone enters a small New Mexico town to investigate the legend of the Haunted Murphy House. The local sheriff takes Stone to the house on the edge of town, and before you know it, both are consumed by the horrors that live inside! Chapters 2-4 of Murphy’s Law, along with additional titles including Carnival of Souls, Funhouse of Horrors and another Ovi Store exclusive, Atomic Dreams, are all available for Ovi Store users to enjoy on their Symbian mobile devices free of charge.

About

MOBILE APPS SHOWDOWN

spacer

The Mobile Apps Showdown is a fast-paced contest where you're asked to weigh in on the apps you think have what it takes to make it. For the months leading up to the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2012) we'll be presenting the contestants to you. You can try them, watch demos, make your feelings known, and ultimately vote on a winner. We're platform agnostic, so if it's mobile it's in the competition.

The top ten apps will join us at CES 2012 for an action packed event hosted by Jon Hein and Gary Dell'Abate from the Howard Stern Show.

spacer

Robin Raskin, creator of the Mobile Apps Showdown, will be there to emcee events.

spacer

By the end of this year more than 7 billion apps will have been downloaded. Only you know which ones are the keepers.
